Why I'm Doing This

When the kids were little, I wanted to get them away from the computer so I suggested that we go for a walk and see who could find the most money on the street. The kids thought that this was a great idea and each day one or both would bring home a few pennies to put into their jars that sat proudly on their bedroom dresser. Well, it's only me now and I thought that I would go out for that daily walk and blog about what I saw... or found on the street. I now have an empty jar sitting on my desk ready for those pennies. I'm curious to see just how much I can find by the end of the summer. I will also be getting a little fresh air and burn a few calories in the mean time.

Update... didn't find even a penny today. ;)
