I 'm pretty sure that you will be thinking that I'm about to tell you that you shouldn't do it, but this time I'm not going to do that. I do buy bags of spinach... washed and cleaned. Spinach packs in the nutrients and takes second to put together a salad when you need one.
Yes, I used to buy lettuce and then would spend all of that time washing all of the sand out of it, but when I looked up all of the nutrients that WEREN'T in a head of lettuce, I decided to look for something else.
To be honest, I have never tried to grow spinach, and I still might if we ever settle in one place long enough, but at the moment, it's easier to just keep everyone happy and healthy and it's easy for me.
