Ask Nicely



When you find yourself with a defective product, you have every right to take it back and ask for a refund or a replacement. Granted, companies are not going to want to do this, but don't give in. It's almost as if they are told... DON'T GIVE FREEBIES! Now that you know that, the important thing to know is that you need to stay calm and collected. If you lose your temper, chances are, you aren't going to get anywhere with customer service. What you need to do is remain polite and state your case and have some back up stats to go with it. Yes, you should do your homework. Be firm but polite.
