Had a Great Day... Because It's My Birthday

Yesterday was kind of horrid. I had made a dental appointment 6 months ago so that I could have an early appointment and my husband could get one within a half hour of mine. Might as well, go once and save gas but it didn't quite work out that way. They lost my appointment and had given it to someone else. Obviously, I was not happy. Darling hubby gave me his appointment which was really nice of him but it still meant that I had to wait 30 minutes for his appointment.  I'm not one for sitting still for long and when it is for the dentist, it's even worse. But that was yesterday.

Today was awesome. Darling daughter took me to the park to look at the flowers. All of the later blooming tulips were up, which lead me to wonder when the early tulips begin blooming? Anyway, they were gorgeous as well as all of the lilac trees that were sending their scent across the entire park. As many of you know, we are getting ready to  sell our house, which means that I get to plan the next garden. I definitely want a spring garden with lots of tulips and lilacs. That means I am going to need lots of tulip bulbs in the spring and some pretty lilacs too.  I think that we had better look for a house with a well established garden. I will want to do a bit of trading to offset the price of the plants that I want .

Once everything has been sorted, then I get to plan my summer and fall gardens. Just a wee bit excited!
