Sometimes it's a pain in the neck to go out and get multiple quotes for something that you need done around the house, but I guess that we are getting smarter in our old age. For the new house, which we knocked down in price because of the carpeting that needed changing, we have two different quotes to choose from. We would have gone for more, but we live in the middle of no where and finding two quotes was hard enough.
That said, we still have a budget in mind and we won't go over it. We can clean these carpets if need be and keep looking if one of the carpet companies can't come in at a price we like. Yes, it took a little extra work, but I'm sure that we will come out the winner because of it!
