Each evening take the kids out for a walk after dinner. It can be "a family walk" or it
can be a one on one walk like I did with my kids. One night would be with just one of the teens and then the other with the second teen so that we could discuss things that were happening in their lives
at the moment.
During the winter, I used to have tea time just for mother and son or daughter just to let them get things off their chests. Lol... the stories that they would share!
