That Carrot Soup

I think that I told you yesterday about our carrot soup that hubby made last night. It wasn't all that bad, but he's made better. We have a huge pot of it and we're making it into a game to see who can come up with an ingredient to make it edible lol. I'm thinking chopped pickles lol.

Creating Left-overs

I think that I  mentioned earlier this month about making meals that are bigger than you need so that you will have lots of left-overs. Yes, left-overs can be a really smart way to use up what is in your pantry. My dad had this trick of using what ever was in the fridge to make dinner when Mom had taken us all out Christmas shopping.

I don't know how he did it, but it was sooooo good. He could even out cook Mom, but I would never tell her!
