Time to Do a Bit of Planning Today!

Well, Christmas is behind us for another year. The coming Christmas will be the one where we don't go into debt. Believe it or not, we are going to make every one of the Christmas presents that we want to give. I'm telling you now, so that you have plenty of time to mull it over. There is at least one thing that you can make. You might surprise yourself and find several ideas that you can turn your attention to over the coming months but it is this month that you will spend your time considering what these gifts might be. 


So sorry for the delay the last couple of days... Had a wee bit of surgery done and I was "hurtin" lol!  I'm slowly getting back to normal now.

Moving Again!!

 *The first thing we did when we moved to a new location was to check out all of the "supermarkets" in the area to see who has the best prices. You would be amazed at what you will find.  Dollar stores can be a pretty amazing place to shop for food too. One of our brought in bread once a week and sold each loaf for a dollar!! Yes, a dollar!

Morning New Years Resolution For 2017

 Morning Everyone!!

Yes, I'm starting the year with some ideas about what I want to accomplish!  Today, I will gather up all of the bottles of products and use them ALL before I buy more to replace them. If you remember, I received 4 or 5 bottles of foaming handsoap from Bath and Body Works and 6  matching hand creams.

I will not venture into the store (the temptation will be great) until I have used them all up. And if that isn't going to be hard enough, I have 2 full bottles from other sources! It's going to be a tough year lol!!

We are saving money in our bedroom! Are you??

It's getting kind of nippy in every room but our bedroom so while the furnace is heating the rest of the house, there is no reason to heat the bedroom, so we keep all of the vents closed in there and we sleep like logs lol!
